Let Love Be ________: Artistic Interpretations Wanted!

Our Annual Conference Session (ACS) theme this year is Let Love Be, and in our worship together, we will celebrate the many things that love can be. We invite your artistic interpretations of Let Love Be ________, such as a poem/spoken word, visual art, dance performance, original music, etc. Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit their interpretation by March 30th, and may be featured in ACS worship. Youth and young adults under 25 years of age may win a $50 gift card.

Children are especially invited to participate in a Let Love Be poster contest! They might “fill in the blank” with an adjective after the theme phrase (e.g. let love be caring,  let love be radical,  let love be inclusive,  etc.) — or they might make their own version of the image that’s been created for ACS (hands formed into a heart shape). To submit poster entries, take a digital photo of your poster and email it to pastorlaurieumc@gmail.com by March 30th.  All of the children’s submissions will be displayed at some point during the Annual Conference Session.
